What a day I had yesterday. I think I vomited about 12 times. Started in early afternoon and lasted until after midnight. I couldn't eat my breakfast, scrambled egg and spam. Both of which I have had before. Tried protein shake this morning, got down about 2/3 and started clear liquids to hydrate. I don't think I ever want to see food again.

I am so sorry that you had such a bad day. I hope that you get better. Was it something that you ate or are you getting sick?? I hope that you aren't coming down with anything.

*hugs* and take care :)

Thanks for the hugs. My wife thinks I may be coming down with tummy bug. I was fine today mostly. We went to dinner and I had a few bites of salad and did ok. We went to see "Spring Awakening" at Orange County Performing Arts and when we got home ate more salad. Now I'm hoping the vomiting starts again, I would feel better, but just one time please. Not a repeat of yesterday. I don't know why this is happening.

Well take it easy and try to get your fluids. If it persists then call your surgeon to make sure you are alright. I hope that you start feeling better soon. It sucks to be sick.

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

WOW! Sorry to hear that.  Make sure you call your surgeon to get advice.  We do not want you to dehydrate.

Eggs are STILL touch-and-go with me, and I'm over two years out! There are just some things your pouch will never get along with, I still can only eat a few bites of fruit before my pouch begins to rumble.  Some people call it refridgerator roulette.

HOWEVER, if you keep spitting up EVERYTHING you eat, you might have a stricture that can be easily resolved...you will need to call your surgeon though.

Good luck!

EGGS...evil eggs.  5 years out and I can eat almost anything, but give me scrambled eggs and I'll probably get sick.  Don't know what it is.  Don't know why.  Sometimes I can eat them and then there is the rest of the time.  Yuck.  Another possibility is the Spam.  That is quite high in fat content and fat is another problem food for alot of RNYer's....myself included.  You might want to stay away from both of those for awhile.  You can try them again, but I would do it seperately and see if one and or the other sets you off again.

Sorry you were feeling sick and do keep the liquids going.  You don't want to get dehydrated.

Linda,

So sorry to hear you're having the ickies.  Please think about calling your surgeon just to make sure you have nothing else going on.

Hugs,
Barb

Linda,

Sorry to hear what is going on with you.  I agree with Barb call you Surgeon, could be nothing and could be something better safe than sorry.  See you at the Long Beach Coffee?
