looking for a support group

in the Sacramento area.  Can anyone put me in the right direction?

Hi There...I'm in Sacramento...a Richmond WLS Kaiser patient.  I attend a Monday nite group in Elk Grove, at the Kaiser on Bond Rd. It meets every Monday nite, 7-8:30 pm.  While we are mostly Kaiser WLS patients, we have a couple that had their surgeries thru Dr Waldrop (sp) out of Roseville and 1 who went thru Dr Machado.  Everyone is welcome and all stages of surgery are present..pre ops, short and long-term post ops and those just checking the surgery out.  Please PM me and I will gladly give you directions ^_^

That is wonderful.  Although I work by Dr. Machado (and she is my surgeon), I live in Florin so that works out great.  Please let me know an address and I can find it from there.  Thank you so much.

We have had people travel from Sacramento to get support from our group so you wouldn't be the first, or last.  Maybe you can find a carpool buddy down the road?
