Treat yourself at this Holiday Expo, Dec. 6, SF Bay Area
Hello California Members,
I'm coordinating a Holiday Expo in Alameda, CA, and it dawned on me to share this info with you because, let's face it, we deserve gifts to ourselves to from time-to-time. Although it's a Holiday Expo and is really intended to give you a great opportunity to support the local economy while tackling your holiday gift-buying needs, why not give yourself a reward for all you accomplished this year too!

Date: Sunday, December 6
Time: 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Location: Temple Israel, 3183 Mecartney Road, Alameda, CA 94502 (this is the Harbor Bay part of Alameda)
Admission: Free
Special Request: We are taking up a collection of select items for the Alameda's Midway Homeless Shelter so please bring a donation of such items (per their request) of paper products, laundry soap, diapers and wipes, bathrobes and you'll receive a door prize ticket per item. Bring a friend, receive a ticket too.
In addition to doing some or all of your holiday shopping at this event, here's sampling of rewards you might want to give yourself from the vendors already confirmed:
~ a gourmet kitchen item from Pampered Chef
~ scrapbooking materials from Creative Memories (a new you book perhaps!)
~ a new book from one of the many local authors and Usborne Books
~ gorgeous ceramics
~ jewelry (hello!)
~ get a makeover from one of the cosmetic companies
~ romance yourself with a Paris-themed item
~ floral and holiday decorations
~ handmade soap
~ gift cards
~ and more are being scheduled as I write this
