Lap Band Support of ANY kind in San Luis Obispo County?
hi everyone :) I was banded in 2003 in Colorado and have recently moved to the San Luis Obispo area. (On the coast, north of Santa Barbara County, south of Monterey County.)
I love, love, love so many positive changes from this move but....I can't find a Band doc (to just check on my band once a year and give me a fill if I ever need one again- haven't needed one in years, but ..just in case) and I'd LOVE a support group or even just one other banded person to connect with in person for support.
Is there anyone out there?
Good luck on your own journey to health and thank you for reading this :)

I am sorry I don't know anyone in your area but I can tell you that I have ound incredible support with the lapband board here on OH. Even though it isn't actual in person support it really does help to talk to others on the same journey.

What part of the county do you live in? I live in Templeton. Central Coast Life Savers has monthly meetings in Atascadero, San Luis, and Arroyo Grande. They are a "non denominational" support group (it doesn't matter if you are a DS, RNY or bandster). They tend to be smaller groups. Let me know if you want more info!
