Continue to be ill...

after 9 days in the hospital I am still sick.  I had my surgery almost 5 years ago.  For some reason, after this many years, it is giving me problems.  I cannot eat anymore.  I was scoped twice, had two different types of upper GI studies,  Only thing I found was the surgery was not exactly the RNY I expected, but a modified version.  Currently, I am eating barely nothing, just cream of chicken soup is being tolerated, but cereal (cheerios), oatmeal and other foods are not sitting well.  I am getting afraid to eat, constantly nauseated and losing way too much weight.  I lost a lot to begin with with and certainly cannot afford to lose anymore.

I am puzzled as to what is going on, but they have done everything they could do for me and cannot remain in the hospital indefinately.  I am soo sick!  I feel like barely post op. I don't know if that is a good thing, but it is certainly causing me a lot fustration.  My pouch still pretty much the same size it was after the operation, but I was able to eat a little more and had a good semblant.  Now I look ashed, emanciated and without any energy.  Even the protein is making me sick, the vitamins make nauseated.

I know that your WLS is the go-to default problem, but i hope that they are looking into other ailments and possible problems, too?

sorry you are going through this, and I do hope and pray that this is solved and SOON for you!!
