Today I am thankful for...

1.  A very thoughful husband who does the nicest things for me.

2,  Getting my hands and feet manicured yesterday, love my Christmas red polish with glitter.

3.  Sleeping a little better last night than I have for a week.

Today I am thankful for:

Being able to pick up the family portraits (we do these every year since Ms V has been born and the changes since last year are unbelievable).

Being close to the end of this audit (I have been freezing my butt of all week).

Having a wonderful husband who loves and takes care of me when I need it (felt a little dizzy last night and could not drive-yikes).

OMG!  You are reading my mind or what.  Do you have to call me out each and every day?  I love it!  You amaze me my dear!

Today I am thankful for.....

1.  Being woken up at 3:30 to find something I need for a meeting and funny thing I did not even know I had it.!  (coincidence?  I think not!)

2.  Screaming kids (isn't it wonderful for them to know that it is o.k. to scream and feel safe enough to do so?)

3.  That I am looking forward to a meeting that could get negative, but because I did my homework and research I belive in my heart that I can turn it all around into a positive.  That is my goal.  So I am thankful for seeing the light?

today I am Thankful for:

having the office all to myself!  Except for answering the phone, this is heaven ;-)

the Reason for the Season!  I am so blessed...and  know I am because I have Jesus in my heart ^_^

this past year...and the huge transformation that has taken place in my life. I am thinner,healthier, happier and looking forward to the new year for even more!

Today I am thankful for my life.  ;-) 

Today I am madder than heck.  84 yo MIL still smoking.. and lying to us for a whole year.  No wonder she is out of breath just answering the phone... no wonder she can't comprehend anything.. she has no freakin oxygen in her!!!! She got busted today in a surprise visit cigarette in hand, house full of smoke.  Apparently Miss Unsocial who isolates herself by choice has manipulated someone into bringing her cigarettes.  I'm thankful she hasn't killed my Michael yet - he has been an angel dropping everything to take care of her, take her to doctor's appts, and all the time she lies and manipulates.  When I visit her she goes on and on about how worried she is about his heart condition... hello??? WTF?  And she is lying to her doctors too... OMGo****here are no words for how mad I am at her! 

Barb, can Isla be my MIL too? pretty please???

Today I really need this post to remind me that its important to let this anger go... and concentrate on what I'm thankful for... I am thankful
1.  that its been a productive day
2.  that I survived a very weird morning
3.  for faith, laughter and a calm, loving home
4.  for our continued good health, both mine and Michael's.

I love the quote, especially the reference to insecurities. That is so so so true!!

Today I am thankful for......

1. Having an interesting forum to attend for work
2. Having clothes that still fit me
3. My husband being willing to take my mom to her doctor's appointment today
4. Knowing things aren't perfect, but I am still content.
