Kasier patinets

Hi, I have Kaiser as well, but I am in the Fresno area. They cover the RNY, Band and Sleeve, they support all 3 of the surgeries and try their best to educate you on all 3. I myself did not have to go through the options class though, so I think the process may be a little different in Fresno. Good luck.

I agree with the other posters in regards to the surgeries Kaiser offers.  I just had my orientation in Kaiser Panorama City and they do cover RNY, Sleeve and Lapband.  I am not sure if at the other kaiser locations the timeframe to attend the options classes is 12 or 24 weeks, however, I was quite suprised and excited to find out it is now 12 weeks instead of the 24 weeks.  I am excited.  Now I wait for my appointment to get medical clearance to start the classes.

  I went through Kaiser Fremont, and they do the RNY, Band, and just started doing the sleeve.  You don't have to do any of the classes like the other kaiser's make you do.  It took me a little over 5 months to go from orientation to having my sugery.. but I was at goal for surgery at my consult.  Best of luck to you!
