Good Morning Calif......

I didn't want to get out of bed today, I wanted to SLEEP and stay in my warm bed. Even the "kids" are still in bed. They told me to *uck off when I told  them it was time to get up. Aw what a life....

So how did everyone do at the track? did the #2 horse kick butt for you? I bet you all fualt to bet it and he kicked a$$ Over the years, I have found the # 2 horse alway seems to do great. He is not on the rail, so there is less chance he gets boxed in, yet he is close enough that he can find the rail when its time. Make since?

OK coffee is done and I need to get into the shower and start my day.

Glad everyone who went to the races had a great time.  Thanks for the pics and for sharing the day with us, it sure looked like every one had fun celebrating.

We are waiting for the rain to start here.  Lots of guitar playing and dominoes at my house this weekend which has been a lot of fun.  We ran some errands yesterday and just relaxed and watched football and listened to guitars, today promises more of the same and a dinner with friends from out of town.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and remember to stay dry and drive safely in this rain.

Good morning California,

Well so far it's not looking like rain in my part of the IE.  I suppose it will come in sooner or later. I know we need it, but rain just puts me and especially Mike in a bad mood.

Yesterday I spent most of the day doing laundry.  Yuck.  But then around 3:00 Mike and I headed out to Ontario Mills.  We had a nice early dinner at Dave & Busters and then went and saw Avatar.  It is a good movie.  We saw the 3D version.  I'm not sure we really needed to spend the $14.00 a ticket to see it in 3D as opposed to not, but it did make it sort of a more real vision if that makes sense.  Anyway, the story was fairly predictable, but again, as with 2012, the special effects were what made the movie shine. Visually it's stunning. It is a long movie though.  Just short of 3 hours.  If you haven't seen it I do recommend it.

Today we are going over to one of my co-workers houses to visit for a while.  Nothing special, just hang out for a bit.

OK, think I'll go lie down and maybe get another hour or so of sleep.  That sounds like a good idea.  Have a great Sunday everyone.

Today I am meeting my group of Red Hat ladies for lunch and then we are going to see Always...Patsy Cline.  It is at our Merced Play House Theater.  We really do have a lot of talented people in our little town.  Yes I will be wearing the purple and red! 

The rain clouds are gathering outside.  We are supposed to get lots of rain this week.  We really need it.

Today finds me wearing a dress and nylons for the first time in 20 years and I'm kind of nervous. lol  I hope the rain holds out till we get there at least! We have a wedding vow renewal today and it should be fun. Can't wait to see Jay in his suit. We will be taking pics and as soon as I can get them uploaded (can't do that on my Mom's computer) I will share!

Morning all!
got very little on my plate today (pun intended!),  I've been overextending again, and I am only 2 weeks post-op, so I'm going to do a whole lot of resting today and tomorrow.  Some laundry, maybe some shopping later.  Naps in between.  I, unlike some folks, LOVE rainy weather.  So restful.  A great day for dressing in warm clothes and relaxing.  My kind of day.  Love and laughter to all.

I don't have much planned for today. I am wiped out. Went dancing with great friends last night and danced the night away. Even closed the bar. It has been many a year since I have been out that late. It was so much fun. Now my knees are telling me all about it.  I was going to go and see Avatar but I think I am going to wait.  Not sure if I would have the patience to sit that long in a theater today. Going to get the house tidied up. Back to work tomorrow for one day, then off again. Have a busy week planned. It still hasn't started raining yet, but it is a beautiful shade of gray outside, I am getting so used to looking at that colour. I hope you all have a great weekend.

Good Sunday Morning!

I had fun yesterday too, Mario loved meeting all of you and said we were a fun crowd. I was just happy to have hot dogs and cake. Winning $22 wasn't so bad either.

Today I'm watching this football thing on TV. I'm in training to become a football fan now. Wish me luck. I can't wait for the rain to arrive.
