It has arrived

Well finally - I received 1 of 2 packages today from Bariatric Eating for the protein I ordered. 

I just mixed me up a Nectar "Kiwi Strawberry".  Not bad tasting but would be much better with ice or possibly in a smoothie.  I only have a lousy small water bottle here with me at the office but you can be sure I will have my Tupperware shaker and my little blender her on Monday. 

I can smell the vitamins which will make me gag and not feeling 100% today it is just kind of grossing me out at the moment..

I think I will buy a few small bananas, and some strawberries so I can make smoothies here at the office.  Yup, I think this will work to help boost my protein and get the scale moving possibly a little faster than it has been.  Not that the weight needs to come off any faster, 80 lbs lost in 6 mos is awsome.  On weigh****chers it took me 1.5 yrs. to take off 65 lbs.

Well, just wanted to let you know that part of my protein has arrived and I should probably place my next order so I can have it at about the time I will run out of this shipment.

Your are doing so awesome with your weight loss. 80 pounds in six months is amazing. I was somewhere in the 70 pound range at 6 months.

I also just ordered some protein packs from Bariatric Eating. I wanted to try the Nectar brands and I really like the cherry flavor I had today. If you can get in one protein shake a day, you'll reach your protein goals much easier. Also, the low fat cheese you can get from Trader Joe's has lots of protein too.

Which vitamins are making you gag? They sent a calcium sample with my protein order. It was some sort of lemon flavor. The texture and the taste was pretty awful.

By the way, I took your advice and bought the Weigh****cher's scale. It was on sale half price at Rite Aid which made me happy.  It weighs me fine, but I've discovered I am maybe 6 pounds more than I thought I was. My other scale that eventually failed was really off. 6 pounds is nothing in the scheme of things though. Does the function that measures body fat percentage work for you? This function doesn't seem to work on mine. Oh well! I really didn't care about that function as much.
