for a week now i have been having sharp pains in my stomach. Thinking it is trapped gas, or constipation. I do have a bowl movement everyday, but still have pain.
The pain will stop, i will eat, then the pain. i have been watching what I eat, driking a lot of water, taking tums, also even did MOM last night, but still pain.
I will get the pain, sometimes I will pass gas, or have bowl movement and it will help, but then it starts up agin.
Help I do not know what to do!
Other than that everything else is great.
Have a great day and a Happy Thanksgiving. If you are having your surgery anytime soon good luck and I pray for a speedy recovery and an uneventful surgery.
I am sure it's painful waiting with out your "tool"
know this, there are others and you will find them on OH.

Pros:
I liked the social atmosphere and working out in a group
I liked that it was all women
The trainers were very strict on doing the machines with good form which is important for not getting injured and they helped everyone (in a normal gym they often disappear as soon as you sign up)
Cons:
The routine was the same, same, same and I got bored pretty quickly
The routine could be made harder up to a point but in a few months I was not getting a good enoug workout because I'd outgrown the machines (they use resistance instead of weight so at some point you can't make the workout harder)
Some other thoughts:
Prices vary depending on where you are and what options you select. It's a decently priced workout but I think, if price is an issue, something like Planet Fitness which is $10 a month and has all the normal machines and workout options would be better because of the boredom/out-growing it option.
OTOH, Curves is a good way to start for people who are intimidated by a regular gym. So if you can avoid signing up for a long-term contract, go for it and then in a few months if you've found you've outgrown it (as many people do), you will feel more confident about signing up at a more traditional gym.
Oh and one thing about Curves: The place I went was 90% SAHMs belonging to a particular fundamental Christian church (that the owner went to). They were nice enough ladies but I felt a bit fish-out-of-water at times plus the hours were not geared towards a working person's schedule at all.
From what I've read about Curves, there is an emphasis on marketing to your social circle so you want to join one that caters to your schedule and other women you have something in common with or you may also feel like stranger in a strange land.
