I'm Home and Happy
Hi everybody, I got home about 10:45 this morning , and I have never felt better. I knew things would go good but I didn't know how great i would feel. Friends all I can say is "We have a couple of great doctors". There were no complications what so ever. Hardly no pain (didn't need hardly any pain medication). It didn't even hurt when the drainage tube came out. I walked, and walked walked. I'm so happy to be a loser I hope who ever is next has the same experience I did. Oh yeah I haven't eaten solid foods since last sunday and I'm not hungry. ......Judy
Welcome home. Congratulations. Don't forget to keep walking, getting liquids in, and getting in those proteins even though your not hungry (which should last about four to six months). Welcome to the "losers" group. The only group who's population increases, but who's overall weight is constantly decreasing.

Thanks Dianne, I'm sure you will feel the same when its your turn. I'll pray for you. I get a little tired and just take a little tynold last night I was just ackey not in real pain. I truly feel blessed and want the same for everyone. First you're on the 3rd floor then on to the 5th for prep and surgery, they really do put your mind to rest. If your day nurse is Danielle then your in for a treat she is simply the best say hi for me. If you want to ask any questions at all please do. ....Judy
