Hi, Dianne is in room 5017A. I just talked to her. She said she feels like she has a gas pain in her tummy. She sounded kinda groggy. She wanted to get up and walk it off. She sounded okay to me. Said her throat didn't hurt. I also finally got through to Lisa's room 5026A. It's been busy since 6PM last night. I even called for a possible down phone line. Finally they gave me the nurses station who went in to put her phone back on the hook. The nurses took the phone off the hook??. She sounded pretty good. Said she'd been up doing her laps and felt pretty good. She's in the room with another gastric patient, however didn't know her. Lisa said the juice tasted wonderful. After clear fluids for 2 days, then ice 1 day, anything with a little flavor tastes like gold water. She's not hungry, just sleepy, but not able to get rest. She's sitting in the chair cause the bed sucks. Remember folks this is not a 5-star hotel.

The nurses gotta keep poking and proding at you. Imagine waking you up just to pick at you. Or come into the room in the middle of the night to change & clean up everything cause the JP bottle overflowed for you roomie. Poor roomie. Okay folks. ((HUGS)) Elissa
