denied for the 2nd time

Well I got the second letter still no go. However the refi on our home did come through only bad thing is we wont get the money until the 30th. The day of my surgery. Oh well guess putting it off a few more days after all these years wont hurt. At least I am still on track. Thanks for all the support...... Kristina

Hey Kristina, Sorry to hear this....What are the grounds for the denials? What kind of insurance?

Hi Shay, I have Highmark BCBS and it says that the surgery is not medically nes. I dont have at least 2 comorbities low BMI and i dont have a 6 month Dr montiored diet plan. thats ok im still doing it. I have a great husband who is behind me 100%. we got to settelment on Wen.

Hi Kristina, Hang in there! I am going through the same thing, I had a surgery date of April 6 and when I was in the doctors office for my pre-op visit, I found out my insurance company (Highmark Blue Sheild) would not approve without a doctor supervised diet, I appealed one time and they denied it too, so then I decided to go to my PCP for a 6 month supervised diet. So hang in there and don't give up, that is exactly what they want you to do. Take care- Dana
