STRANGE THINGS....

Has anyone post-op had any problems with runny nose constantly and uncontrollable sneezing. These two things has been non-stop today....my stomach muscles hurt now from sneezing all day. HELP???? This is wierd I don't think it's a cold......At least I hope not.

Hi Shay Been there done that... I especially get the runny nose when I eat too quickly. I always have a stack of kleenex nearby. When I slow down I don't notice it happening as much. Of course everyone has there own stories and symptoms... Rob

Shay, I too have Kleenex's nearby when I eat. I have similar issues as Rob. Weird Huh. My runny nose & sneezing doesn't last that long!! I swear I've sneezed more in the last 6 months than I have in 55 years. I was never this sneezy before. After I eat it sucks cause your tummy kinda gets up tight from the sneezing and sometimes ya feel like you are gonna sneeze & barf or do both at the same time. Think it could be connected?? I do take Clariton D, 24 hr. Just in case it's an allergy. WHO KNOWS???? Elissa

Funny... I too had the same problem. But thank god I've out grown it. But I still hear the gurgling from the new pipes down there from time to time. Even people around me can her my "new" tummy making noises. Almost 2 years out and still got those pesky noises!! oh well... If that's my only problem... I'll take it!!

Yep me too! its so funny with the runny nose. I was just telling my husband about my runny nose the other day. He just gave me this funny look. Whenever I eat too fast or something doesnt agree with me the nose runs. And my allergies are much better now, but those first 2 months I sneezed my butt off. You will also feel VERY emotional At least I did. Those sappy commericals!!!....forget about it! They chocked me up terrible! Elizabeth M

Wow, when I first read Shay's post I thought, "Wow, how strange is that?" (The occurrence, not you, Shay!) THEN...all of you responded!! lol There must definitely be some correlation, ya think? For it to hae happened to all of you like that. I've actually never had it happen but that's why this board is so great...to bounce stuff off one another.
