waiting for 2nd appt.

This question is again for those of you who have had Dr. Miller as your surgeon. I have completed the testing that he has requested as of Monday August 16th, and that was for my cardiac clearance which I got WOO Hoo! I am still waiting for Dr. Millers office to call to schedule 2nd appt. What does this 2nd appt consist of ? I have lots of questions for him at the next appt. I did not have many at the first one because I was mainly there to hear what he had to say and to learn more about the surgery. I have been doing what everyone has suggested to me and that is research and this board alone has been a tremendous help. Do you meet with him one more time and then get a date and then surgery ?or do we meet with him again after the 2nd appt? Thanks again for your help Teresa

The second meeting takes about 4 hours. You meet with the Nutritionist, the Social worker, the Exercise person, Dr. Miller and one other person. I forget what her title is. Dr. Miller will go over all the test you had to go through as well as answer any other questions you may have. You will then get your surgery date. Good Luck with your jouney. ~Shelly
