Had my endo done ...
Hi Dianne,
I AM SO SORRY you had to have an endo. I don't check the boards as regularly as I used to so I missed your earlier messages. I am glad that you found out what was wrong. Can I ask you what the symptoms were? I called the office on Friday because I was having discomfort, burning sensations and pain that was similiar to what I felt when I had an ulcer way back when (years ago). I would get "relief" if I kept my stomach full, so the pain would come back intermittently (when it was gettting time to eat a meal). Always in the same place too (above my belly button, sometimes upwards and sometimes to the right).
When I called the doc on Friday I was told to take either Prylosec or Zantac -- only as needed -- and "maybe this pain was more in my mind."
So needless to say, I am curious how they came to the ulcer conclusion with you. Not that I want a procedure needlessly but I WOULD like to catch it early if it is something. Can't say I was overly impressed with their answer to me!
TAKE CARE
Dianne,
So glad that all went well and they found the problem. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your sister today. Waiting to hear from you!
Congratulations on taking that major step at the pool. Doesn't it feel wonderful??? I am so proud of you, really I am Dianne ... you are one in a million. I have watched you since you came here and through it all you have remained steadfast and on course!
Hugs,
Tammy

Hey Diane!
Sorry, wasn't on line yesterday. Glad to hear your problem is quickly and easily fixable! I'll be praying for your sister today
, I know all will go well.
I'm a member of the Kirkwood Y and can start next week (at least the pool). Let me know, maybe we can meet up with the darlings! (monsters, rugrats, kids..we all know what they are!).
Take care and give your sister a hug for me. Encourage her to get up and walk!
Valerie
