3-month visit
I had my three-month visit with Dr. Miller. My records say I've lost 56 pounds. I've been released to start strength training, so I have an appointment to sign up for Curves this morning at 9:30. I go back in three months, with the expectation of being 30 pounds down.
David (my husband) made an interesting remark last night. He said, "Do you realize that you're ten pounds away from 100 pounds off of your highest weight? No, I hadn't. But at the time of surgery, I was 32 pounds below my highest weight. So, my century mark will be measured from my surgery weight.
Regardless, I feel like I'm embarking on phase II of this journey. PLUS I'll be performing tomorrow night in Fredericksburg, Va -- this will be my first (drama) performance since the surgery. And I'll be going with my drama team into Gander Hill next Wednesday for a double show next week. It looks like we're really back in the saddle . . .
Well, that's my update for now.
Bye
Diane C.
Diane,

Congratulations on both your loss and your gain (preforming once again)!!! Life truly does change at a rapid pace after this surgery and I count it a joy to share in those changes with you.
***Warning*** Unsolicited advice ahead ***
About the high weight ... I would count it if I were you. I tried to count my high weight of 303 when I was preggers, now that was stretching it, so I let it go!!! But your all time high, should be counted, at least in your own mind. You still lost that weight and this is an accomplishment that should be celebrated.
Wishing you the best tomorrow in Fredericksburg and then again next week in Gander Hill. May it be a blessing to all, yourself included!
Hugs,
Tammy
