Robyn, I didn't have the insurance issue, but I had to wait for 6 months for my consultation with Dr Wynn. Was I happy about it? No. Would I do it again to ensure I had a knowledgeble and skilled surgeon? Absolutely!!! If you decide to look at other solutions, please ensure that you ask the surgeon about their mortality rate. Ask what criteria the patient must meet, not just for insurance, but for the surgeon. I'd be wary of a surgeon who didn't have criteria for patients to meet to mitigate risks of complications and mortality. Good luck! Joni
