Rosemary, congrats. You are having surgery on my 6th anniversary. Obesity Help offers support group training. If you are interested then contact them on the main boards.

There is a meeting in Symrna, not far from Middletown. I attend meetings in New Castle, Wilmington and Christiana. I attended 8 sessions in Symrna recently. It was a 45 mile drive for me and worth every mile. I live on the PA/DE border. It keeps me focused and positive. Not to mention the friends I have made along the way. Starting another group is an awesome idea. There are alot of folks in Middletown area that I am sure would be interested.

The Victory meeting are the 3rd Tuesday of every month.  I had surgery on the 9th of September and have been to almost every meeting...  It's a great group.  Hope to see y'all there

I've got a meeting in January too...I have to check the date.  I attend Victory and I've heard the same thing.  Maybe we can link up at one of the meetings.  Let me know of your surgery date again.  If you like I could visit you in the hospital or at another time (I understand the need for privacy).  But, in any event, my prayer is that you will have much success.

To Kathy and anyone else who finds themselves in this desparate situation:

I feel you pain and I just want you know that there is a way out.  It's not in a bottle, a medicine, or a person on earth, but it is in a Savior and His name is Jesus.  You sound like you are under an attack....being oppressed by the enemy of your soul.  If you let Jesus into your heart He will give you peace.  If you ask Him to take away the burden and the pain...He will do it.  You may be required to give up some of the people that you are closest to or the house; you may be required to stop striving in and of yourself; you will have to stop depending on resources that you've become accustomed to thinking that this is the only way.  The good news is this...Jesus will take away your yoke and He will never let you down if you put your trust and your HOPE in Him.

I'm praying for you to be relieved.  I'm praying that the light and love of God will overtake you in a way that you've never experienced and that you'd be healed of every infirmity that has attempted to overtake you.  From the top of your head to the sole of your feet...inside and out....I pray strength, hope, and peace for your being.  You be blessed and you be encouraged!

I'm scheduled for 3/29/10 @ Christiana.  I cannot wait.  Are you finished with your nutrition classes.  I have two more to go...one in January and one in February.
I plan to be really involved with a group and/or begin another myself in the future.  I really want to focus on staying health...I mean optimally healthy. 

I'd like to hear from you again.  Maybe we can link up for strength training or some cardio at the Glasgow Park.  By the time I have surgery you'll be down considerably.  Congrats before hand....lol.
