Judy, We will try to make the meeting this month for sure. Due to a leg injury I was kicked out of school until February or March. I am still  working 2 jobs and trying to keep busy. This will be a tuff month for Debbie and I.  November 17th will  be 1 year since Bob passed.  Ok I just got  off the phone with Debbie and we both decided that we are coming to New Castle and making a day  of it on the 17th.  so we will see all you guys then. We really miss you guys and look forward to meeting all the new people. See you lighter. Joanne

Topic: Leaving today

Good Morning,

Just wanted to say Hi and to thank everyone that responded to my post a few weeks back about looking for a doctor.  We are leaving Sheppard AFB Texas this morning and taking our time getting to Dover.  If all goes well we will arrive a week from today.  I look forward to meeting some of you and will be checking back here more often now.  Have a blessed day.  Michelle 2 1/2 years and 100 pounds gone

Topic: Just a quick question
Question with Dr Irgau's office, when will I know if my insurance approved my surgery? I have my surgery date already, is that a good sign? Am I already approved? I have not heard from anyone as to Insurance information or from the clinic, I want to call the office but I still have a few more Nut. appointments plus my lifeskill classes (next 3 weeks)

I worry my clearance appt is Dec 9th from the Nut and the Nurse Practitioner and Medical staff. My surgery is set for Jan 11th. And on Dec 28th I leave for Vegas until Jan 6th. Im feel like I am running out of time. Seems like time is flying by.

Anyone with help or info, please help me relaxe

Hey Lady!
Where have you been?  We sure do miss you at the Victory support meetings!  Try to come this month, we are bringing in our weight loss friendly favorite dishes.  We also have had a lot of new participates.  A nice group of ladies getting ready to have surgery.  You and Debbie are brought up at each meeting.
Take care!
Judy

Jennifer, I did enjoy myself greatly. Unforunately I had to enjoy it from a wheel chair due to a knee injury but I had a great time anyway. I really enjoyed the fashion show. It was so nice to see everyone feel so confident in their new bodies. We stayed until Sunday and went to see NY city on the way home. We got home late Sunday night. Busy weekwend but lots of fun. Boy 2 hours away, How Lucky were you ? This was my fourth event on the East coast and I look forward to the next one. Hopefully I will see you there. See you lighter. Joanne

Melissa, I had several people try to talk me out of having the surgery. After I told them my true reasons for having the surgery they became supportive. Most people are not supportive out of fear or jealozy. Many people do know know what an obese person goes thru daily and never will. A true friend will support you when they realize how important it is to you. Several people in my family who didn't support my decision at first, now have had surgery themselves. Best of luck to you. See you lighter. Joanne
