While I don't work for the State of Delaware, I wanted you to know I had Dr. Peters and have had absolutely no problems since my surgery last November.  I think he's really great.......good luck!!!

I work for the State of Delaware I have BCBS IPA.  I had my surgery on June 1st. After my 6 months with PMRI and my clearance appointments I was approved the same day my packet was submitted! You'll be fine! The PMRI case manager Tina, is so helpful and is there for you if you have any questions about anything related to WLS.

My Daughter Tori: Your Neighbor needs your

Help!

Hello Everyone.

I haven't been on here in awhile. I've had a lot happen in my life since last October 31st when I had surgery. As some of you know I lost my wife in a car accident on Thanksgiving last year. And since then I have been able to see my Daughter or (Step-Daughter) Tori. But her Father has been trying to get custody of her and my Wife was trying to get his rights taken away from him. which I won't go into because I want you to watch a video that her 1st Husband put together. and that will explain a lot. And all I ask is for you to circulate this Video and if you can write a letter to the Judge telling him your opinion. You can find this on you tube and if you want I'm on Myspace/ricinindy and on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/profile.php?id=687534515&ref=name

Thank you for Everthing

I want to add the reason He did not serve the 20 to 50yrs was because Mooresville lost the evidence. How do you lose a couch????? Among other thing's.

Also She cryed to me Because her Father told her that she spends to much time with me and her staying the night with me was bad. And when he get's custody of her. she won't see me anymore. How the hell do you tell a 5yr old who's lost so much in her life that your going to take away something else from her? I'm the ONLY DAD SHE KNOW'S! She doesn't know him And she has told me she's scared that he will kill her. which is because she knows what he did to her Twin Brother. She's my Baby and I am just wanting everyone to know what's going on so maybe we can all make a difference in her life!

Thanks I appreciate your reply I have IPA as well.  Yeah I have done the six months of documented weight loss and St. Francis made it very easy to do.  Good luck on your journey!

I am also a State of De employee, I have only just begun with Cardio and Psyc appts done, and have Pulm scheduled for 10/12/09.  But I do have several people that work directly with me that have had lap & ryn and have had no problem with BCBS.  They all  had PPO, but I have IPA and have been in contact with BCBS several times and the only thing I can see that they are very particular about is the 6 months of attempted/documented weight loss attempt. Sounds like you will be fine!!  Keep me upadate on your progress, and know that you have fellow "co-worker" and friend to count on if you need to chat .

Hi  Elissa.
Yup, already saw the Puminologist,  who, after and he and I went over what seemed like a zillion questions, decided that I didn't need a sleep study and gave me clearance.    So now I have clearances from the Gastro and Pulminary guys, plus the Psychologist. I only have ONE MORE to go and that's the Cardiologist.     I have the stress test on Tuesday and I'm 100% positive that will go smoothly and I'll be on my way to a surgery date.   Very very EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!
