Sounds like you are doing really well!  Good for you!
I like Pam T.'s Protein Chai Tea.  It's really good.
I also bought some South Beach Flavored water packets (3gr of protein each) from Big Lots for $1 a box!  How great is it to drink 4 of these, get all of you water in and 12 gr of protein to boot!
Here's Pam's recipe:

Protein Hot Chai Mix 6 scoops vanilla protein powder 1.5 cups non-fat powdered milk 3/4 cup instant unsweet tea mix 3/4 cup Splenda 1T. chai spice mix (or use half cinnamon and half ground ginger) 1t. ground cloves 1t. cardamon (original recipe calls for this, but I don't have any, so skipped it)
Mix all dry ingredients in bowl until well blended. Add 1/2 cup of mixture to mug and add either splash of cold milk or water -- stir to create smooth paste (so you don't get lumpy protein powder). Add 8oz ho****er and mix well. You can top with Light Redi Whip and a sprinkle of chai spice or drink it naked. (The drink is naked, not you.)
Recipe makes 7 half-cup servings. Calculation below is without the "splash of milk" when you're mixing the tea. If you use RediWhip -- it adds about 20 calories.

I used the vanilla protein powder they sell at Acme.  Worked really well. (Don't boil your water or your protein may curdle or become gritty)
Give it a try.  Its YUMMY!

Hi All,

Thanks for everyones' support during this time.  I had my surgery on Thursday and feeling great.  I took tylenol once today and was at Walmart reading nutrition label for almost 2 hours today.  Any suggestions for recipes during this liquid stage?  I have been on liquid since August 24th and getting tired of drinking tea and protein shakes.  I do have to drink more water though.  I am taking everyday as it comes.
Thanks again.

Amy.. This is so true.  I try to teach my subordinates to take responsibility for their own actions.  It's so easier to blame some one else!

As for WLS, I don't have anyone to blame but myself for the last 10 pounds that I'd like to loose!  I'm getting back to the basics.

Enjoy your holiday weekend!

Hi Claudia,

Welcome to the board. My name is Vonda and I live in Dover.  The cardiologist I saw was Dr. Abbresica. He's located in the Eden Hill Medical Center, and the pulmonogist was Dr. Ali  located on S. Bradford St.  I got clearances from both with no problem.  Good Luck

Vonda

I'm already a winner, now I'm ready to be a looser
