I just have to say I Love your attitude. Most people get intimidated by Drs and forget we are paying them. The words " I FIRED HIM" . Good for you ! My daughter fired her first Cardiologist too but for different reasons. Good luck with your clearence as you begin this journey. See you lighter. Joanne

Well, this particular Cardiologist has such an "attitude". His way is the only way (at least, HE thinks so). Won't be recommending him too soon. LOL

It baffles me that a cardiologis of all doctors would be against WLS, but I guess to each their own.

Surgery went well, Dr. Irgau said couldn't have gone better. I had to stay in the hospital an additional day due to some GI bleeding but it stopped. Since I've been home I've been doing good with protein, fluid and mushie. Knocking on wood know vomiting at all. Tomorrow is my two week follow up with Chrias.

I went thru Delaware Cardiovascular Associated myself and was cleared with no problem had the stress test there as well. They have a couple of offices: Wilmington on Foulk Rd 661 7676 and the other nxt door to Chrias at 993 7676. My doctor was Dr Marmo very nice man. Hope this helps.
