Sorry everyone, for not hangin' out in here.  Been a bit off kilter lately.  I wanted to drop in and let you all know some stuff.  Some good, some not so good.  First, the not so good.

Since this tme last year, I have gained about 15 pounds.  Not a huge issue because going back to the basics with my shakes and no carbs usually will correct the problem and I can shed the pounds easily. Being motivated is the problem.  I don't exercise enough and need to get off my lazy butt and do some walking.  Pop tarts are bad.  LOL.

I have had temporary guardianship of our granddaughter since February but we are taking her to Michigan to be with her Mom this coming Saturday.  Things are looking a lot better there for my daughter so Karissa may stay there...we will see.  If I see that it is not better by August, I weill go back and bring all 3 kids back to Delaware with me.  Hopefully that won't be necessary.

Been having a battery of tests for kidney issues.  This is important... about a year ago, I stopped taking my vitamins, B-12, and went back on all of my heart meds.  Heart-wise, everything is great but due to our malabsorption issues with RNY and the fact that I haven't been taking my Vits...other problems are starting to surface.  I realize what the cause is and have started back on the supplements, and getting back with the program. I am NOT going to continue sabotaging myself.  I have too much to live for.  My advice after trial and error...No matter how good you feel or how great we think we are doing, stay on the supplements.  I went off them and have had chronic problems since.  Bad Kathy.

The Back Bay Cafe is open for the season.  Being the breakfast cook and seeing how slow business is, we may be discontinuing breakfast.  We will go another 2 weeks and if it doesn't pick up, I will be out a summer job.  We didn't sell $150 worth of food yesterday, all day.  C'mon summer visitors....get down here quick, before I lose my job!!!

Everyone take care and I will try to stop in more often.

Jo:

So sorry to hear Ralph and his daughter are not doing well.  We were busy over the weekend as well with our yard sale, I guess we made about $150, took the rest of the items to Christian Storehouse in Millsboro.  We are waiting to hear if we get Brooke this weekend, will keep you updated, you know I promised her and Alexis a sleepover.  Talk to you soon!

Hi Amy!

How are you doing? I was wondering what happened to you...I just chalked it up to work and school, as I know you have a very busy schedule. Didn't think about the computer not working, though. I hope it stays up & running.

Sorry you won't be at Victory tonight...I may not be either, though.

Hope everything else is going well with you.

Talk to you soon!

Hi Elissa,

Thanks for the prayers, I needed and still need them.  I will not be coming back to northern Delaware.  I love it too much where I am.  It is beautiful down there.  With Jonathan leaving in July there really isn't much for me to come back too other then friends.  My family & I all we do is fight and I can't live like that any more.  I don't like it and don't want it.  Plus I have a great place to live down there fully furnished at a price I can afford.  If I were to move back here my rent would be way out of my price range.

I will be back for visits though.  It is an internet travel company.  I am hoping it will turn into good money, the first 3 months are OK money but the potenial for better money is there.

Take care
Deanna

Topic: Hungry or Not?
I am never hungry anymore - its very difficult to stay on track this far out - I have no desire to eat so my meals are next to none some days.  So I am trying to get myself back to eating every few hours.  I can't remember how I did it in the beginning and need help to remember to make myself do this.

I know not eating regularly isn't helping my health issues.  I know in the beginnning I couldn't eat but two ounces at a time...now I can eat up to 6 oz so I feel I eat normally and can't get it into my head that I still should eat every few hours.  How are you guys keeping to this?

I know especially in work its very hard when I run from meeting to meeting and well I have people around a table with me for several hours what do you do in situations like this - I sometimes bring cheese sticks but it does get boring after awhile....

Anyone have any ideas?

Debbie

Been keeing you in my prayers since we had lunch. Happy Birthday and God Bless. I went to
my ex's graduation from Parris Island in 1967. Lived at Camp Lejeune in N.C. for about a year. I have fond memories of the Marines and the Carolina's. . I'm sure his will be different from mine though.

The job sounds right up your alley. An internet travel company?? How cool!! I wanna know some details. Working from home. Good money? Will you come back to northern Delaware Deanna?

TT you soon. ((HUGS)) Elissa
