Topic: Good news...
Hello Delaware,
I have really been out of the loop lately. Sorry about that, hope everyone is doing well. I have been a busy bee lately. My son graduated from A.I. duPont High School on June 6th. I was so proud of my son, now onto his next adventure. He will be picked up my his United States Marine Corp recruiter on July 12th to be taken to Ft. Meade (MD) to take his final oath as a Recruit for the Marines. They will then process him through and he will arrive for basic training in Parris Island, SC at 2:00am on Tuesday, July 12th. He will be there for 12 weeks and is scheduled to graduate on Friday, October 9th. Please keep him in your thoughts & prayers for a safe military career. He is going in for Combat Support.
On another good note, yesterday was my birthday, no biggie there, but at 1030am yesterday my phone rang and it was www.cheapcaribbean.com calling me to offer me a job. I start training on Monday in the Doylestown, PA training center. I will be staying with my mom and driving to Doylestown every day for 3 weeks. When I am done my training I will then be able to go live and work from home. This is a real blessing because now I don't have to worry about gas prices and wear and tear on my car. I am so excited, I have been laid off now for 8 months. Because of this job I will also be able to spend the next 3 weeks with my son every day before he leaves. God is good and answers prayers.
I will try and pop in more ofter to say HI and see what everyone has been up too. Enjoy your weekend.

Topic: 4 year check up
Went for my four years checkup today. Got great lab results. My protein levels are up to 22. I have not gained any weight and the only suggestion was to try to get more liquids in. Liquids have always been my issue. I am never thirsty and forget to drink all the time. My Vitamin B12 levels are a little high so he is going to cut down my supplement. I was down to taking it only twice a week and now I am going to take it only once a week. I was very pleased to have come this far and still feel good about what I am doing. I struggle a little with craving sweets but I am trying to stay focused and eat the better choices. I wish he had found a hernia so I could get some tucks done, but no luck
.
Take care everyone.
Ellen

Joanne,
Sorry to hear some of your family members are not doing well.
It's Tuesday evening and I've already worked about 25 hours.
Sigh.... I'm tired.
Can't wait to see Debbie's girly figure at Victory next week!
Enjoy your day,
Judy

Good Evening from Lower Slower Delaware ! How was everyones weekend ? Mine was very busy. Alot of running around. You know thrift stores and yard sales. We had country Sunday at Church on Sunday so Debbie, Alexus and I needed outfits to wear. Debbie looked like Ellie May Clampett from the Beverly Hillbilly's. It was lot of fun. Service was held outside with a BBQ afterwards. Today I went with my sister to see my brother. He is not doing very well so please keep him in prayer. His name is Ralph Tucker. Also his granddaughter Vanessa has had RNY and now she is having problems passing out. She was in ER today. Please keep her in prayer that the drs find out what is wrong. I read something today that stated " SSWhat counts is the volume of prayer not the length" See you lighter. Joanne
