Hi Joanne,
Wish Debbie the best. My daughter asked me where she was when we were at the meeting. I told her she's having the surgery done that i'm dying to have done. Tell her to keep her eye on the goal! She's gonna look great. Hope to see you at Victory next month. I already marked my calendar for June.
Happy Memorial Day weekend!

Hey Girl ! How you making out with that weightloss ? I feel so out of touch with all right now but hopefully we will be back up to Victory next month. Debbie is actually using paper tape and very little of that is on the skin. She has a visiting nurse coming in starting tomorrow and has an appointment with Dr. Fenelli on Tuesday. I will look tonight to see if the blisters are near where they had to restitched her because they did use steri strips there while she was in the hospital. They did not work so then they put in 3 stitches. You may have something there. I will let you know. See you Lighter. Joanne

Joanne, I had hernia repair along with my tummy tuck a couple of years back and it was a LOT more painful than the original RNY . . . plus I was just entirely wiped out energy-wise. Tell Deb to get as much protein in as she can to speed healing, and to keep popping those pills!

Hi Joanne!
Tell Debbie to Hang in there! Its all gonna be worth it...
About the Blisters.... Is she using adhesive/steri strips tapes.
the only reason i ask that is because i am HIGHLY allergic to that and i broke out in hives/blisters etc... that may be whats going on with her...
For my RNY surgery they used a glue on my incisions, They can be so painful... just keep that in mind. she may have to use the paper tape vs. the adhesive!
Good luck!
Have a super weekend!
Hope to see you all at Victory soon ;-)

Elissa, I just came back from doing her dressing change. She is taking her meds. She did get emotional today because she developed about 7 blisters. She called Kenny ,who assured her it was nothing to worry about. I did tell her the worse part will be over when she gets the drain balls and stapples out. She still has swelling . See you lighter. Joanne

Hey Joanne, Tell Debbie not to be a hero. Make sure she gets plenty of meds. This is why I keep procastinating on Plastic Surgery. I hate pain. I am such a sissy. She can tough this out. It'll be a couple weeks before she feels human again. Tell her not to laugh. It'll hurt too much. Talk to you soon. Keep us informed on her progress. ((HUGS)) Elissa
