Topic: Last day of Opifast, clear liquids, then Monday Surgery
This is my last day of Opifast. What a time. Everything was good tasting, if it wasn't I don't think I would be able to last as long as I did 14 days worth. Saturday and Sunday I will be starting my clear liquids. I made 4 different kinds of jello. I have everything for my 2 days. Thank God for that. And Then............my Surgery on Monday. I have to be at Christiania Hospital at 5:00 am. Surgery is set at 7:30 am. I started already with my list that I have to bring at the hospital and I wrote as few reminders as leg lifts in bed, how to get out of bed, how to get rid of GAS and breath exercises. I hope I didn't forget anything. I am READY. I am really READY!!! Wish me luck.....

i must say. . if this is how it is supposed to feel-i am a yr or so behind. i have been reading the lap band boards religiously since 2/11/09. i enjoy lapbandking.com and melting mama!!! humorous and informative at the same time.
i had a visit w dr. peters on 3/18. i needed to know the size of my band - 10 cm
my fills have been: 1.0 + .25 + .25 - .5 + 1.0 + .5 = ????? my the record's math is messed up.
dr. peters did removed the fluid and put it back. plus the .5 which was on 3/18. talk about discomfort. OMG.
dr peters was cautious about it being too tight. i understand.
is this how it is suppose to feel? i could drink. no problem. but i could feel the restriction.
i have been on fluids since wednesday. i will attempt soft today. chicken ground. applesauce.
i have to admit. now i can say i think i have found my "sweet spot" i think this is what it should have been all along.
i have been trying to walk 2-4 miles a day. nice weather helps. i bike also 3-5 miles a day (stationery bike at gym) i alternate w aquasize for 90 mins and nautalis machines.
i have updated my profile w weightloss and pics.

Good Morning Delaware!
Please click the link below and check out my personal Relay page. This year, The American Cancer Society has made it very simple to donate by providing us with the website where people can donate online, purchase luminarias in honor or in memory of loved ones touched by cancer. Troop 105 will be working the event again this year. Any information you need about this year's Relay can be found in the menu on the right hand side of the page. Any donation will help someone, somehere , whose life has been touched by cancer, and donations are tax deductible. Our Boy Scouts have 2 teams this year and are trying to raise funds for the ACS as well as working the Relay. which they enjoy so much. You are right in All our efforts it it can be abused.It it designed like other surgeries to help.
So doing all that we are supposed to goes along way/ I am not struggling with adjustment. I really know why I had the surgery. I have been very healthy all of my life . I know that Obesity Is my Problem. Well How are you doing? Take good care

Hey Joanne, I was on the road from North Carolina yesterday. 9 hours to get home. Was way too tired to get back in the car to come back to New Castle. Mary and Roger were sick and couldn't make it either. She called and left me a message yesterday. I was really hoping to get home early and get there. Best laid plans. Who got the star? I like that part of the meeting too. It is so encouraging to see the look on the face of the person receiving the star. How many new people came?

Topic: Victory Fellowship Meeting
It was nice seeing everyone at Victory last night, Rob did a wonderful job leading the meeting. The topic was very good. A deserving person received the star. Congradulations !! You Go Girl !! Who will she pass it to? Come see for yourself next month. I love this part of the meeting. It is so inspiring to me just to see the love and understanding in a room of friends who truely understand each other, Know their journey and understand the road they travel each day. It you were not there you missed a good meeting. Now I will tell you I am having my RNY revised to a DS. See all lighter. Joanne
