Kathy, Follow Rt # 13 until you come to 13 and 40 split. Make the first turn to the left.  It will be at a light. You have to get over to the left to turn at the light. You actually have to do a U turn and get on Rt 40 at the light. After you turn around you will see a dunkin donuts or donut connection on your right. Go down Rt 40. Just past the split turn like you are going into Walmart. Walmart will now be on your right and Victory will be on your left. I would tell you you could follow me but I already made plans to meet a friend for dinner. I will be leaving Milford at 3 pm and stopping to get my hot chocolate before meeting my friend. See you there. Joanne

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would try to go to this meeting.  Can anyone give me directions from Camden-Wyoming?  I know I should drive north on Route 1 to Route 13 but then what?  When/where do I turn onto route 13?  Left or right?  I'm not familiar with that area or where the Wal-Mart is.......

Thanks!

Kathy

Totatlly understand those times....I hope things are improving for you now.  Its hard to be you when you are dealing with other issues you cannot control as well as you would like.  Chin up and keep smilin....it all goes away one day.

My husband's uncle had something like this when he was injuried in War efforts.  He and I could not eat much when we went out....and he was always very thin.  It was a good thing and being able to adjust to it was hard for him at the beginning he told me.  I wonder does the stomach grow back if you over eat?  They say it stretches over time.  I hope you find someone else that has had that done here for you....Its always good to have someone to chat about issues with.  I was so happy when I found the Delaware group when I had my RNY.  I was concerned I would not have people to chat about issues with....

Hi Debbie
Good to here from you. How are Ya?  The sleeve is much less invasive than RNY.  It is less recovery and all over new to the usa because the Insurance  companies are taking there time paying for it.  It does not require bypass of the intestines. Your stomach is  reduced and then removed permanently.  Hopefully I will meet someone else here.  Great to hook up up with others and there resources good and bad.
Take great care Liz

Judy, Don't tell her. Hopefully one  friend will show. or maybe them all.  I always like a full house. We do look forward to this meeting. It is Debbie and I's mother /daughter day. She has to go to Maryland and stay with her Boyfriends mom for the day . His Mom is ill and can't stay alone. She asked Debbie to come stay with her Tuesday and Wednesday. She is leaving Tuesday morning and coming back Wednesday afternoon.  See ya Tuesday. Joanne

My daughter is still talking about how funny your daughter is.  I'm not gonna tell her Debbie won't be there, she might not want to come with me.  I think she really liked coming with me, she has already reminded twice this weekend that the group meeting is tuesday!  I invited 3 post surgery friends so i'm hoping at least 1 will show.
See Ya!
Judy

BJ, I just have to tell you I am so proud of you. It seems to me you are counting your blessings and looking at the positives in all this. I truely beleive things happen for a reason. Just think you will be getting exercise along with a ride to work. It just shows me how strong and independant you are. YOU GO GIRL !!! ANY MOMMA WOULD BE PROUD !!! See you lighter. Joanne
