The next meeting of New Life WLS Group is this Wednesday, March 18th at 7pm, Community Church of Oak Orchard. If you are coming from Seaford. Come down Rt 24. Go thru the light at WaWa ,thru the town, past the chicken plant. Make a right at the indian musum. Royal Farms will be on your left. Come straight down and the church is across from the firehouse. My doctor is in maryland and they have support groups but it is to far of a drive.
Maybe I will check my local area for groups. But I would like to join you and visit yours sometime.

You are welcome -- it's a nice new thrift shop -- I had both kids with me too and they are impatient, too -- I hate it when they rush me. Next time you are on Rt. 1 stop in to see us, we live in Breezewood community about 2 blocks behind the Walmart shopping center . . .

Hi All ! It is a little dizzly in Lower Slower Delaware. Does anyone have any great plans for the weekend ? It has been quiet here. Just Alexus and I hanging out. We went to the new thrift store .( Thanks BJ ) Then we went to the QVC outlet and Walmart. I really hate to shop with Alexus. She has no patience and is not a bargain shopper like me. We are now going to settle back and watch some TV in the quiet. See all lighter. Joanne

Maureen, First congradulations on making the decision to take this journey and WELCOME TO OUR GROUP ! You will find we are like family here. Let me tell you, your husband sounds like mine was before I had my surgery. He just loves you so much and is scared he will lose you. It took my husband 6 months after surgery to finally say something about it. He supported me totally and knew it was something I really wanted but he was scared. Have your hubby come to a support group with you, if he will. Like everyone else here I strongly recommend the group at Victory Fellowship. I hope to see many post from you as you start this journey. Remember all roads have potholes so we are here to hear it all and share our bumps along the way. See you lighter. Joanne

BJ, The Y in Rehobeth does do shlarships for summer care. My grandkids go to Oak Orchard Boys and Girls Club all summer. If all else fails call Debbie. She may do it for you reasonable. When you get a chance call me. I have something to tell you. See you lighter. Joanne

You have came to the right place. I would sujest you get into a local support group. I run a support group in Millsboro and some of our members are from the seaford area too. Does your Dr's office have support groups ? Mind does but I had my surgery in D.C. My daughter and I go North to a support group once a month at Victory Fellowship in New Castle..
