This a great idea! Working with a buddy will definately help you keep your weight loss goals in the front of your mind. My husband always nags me because I always check OH daily.

Congratulations!!!!!! That is fantastic. Im sorry about your prep------Im soooooo glad i did not have to that prep im not sure i could have...LOL more power to you.
That shows determination and commitment you should do well for your part.

I know NCC has a discount day camp program you may want to see if sussex has a similar program. Also look for pals( polic athletic league) programs i think they offer discounts/scholarships. The YMCA also you can apply for scholarship there too. Im not sure if there is a boys club near you but they offer help as well if Im not mistaken. Maybe you could find a local teenager if you cotact the highschool---if you have a tech school they may be able to reccomend something if they have early childhood education as a major or even delt tech . Just some ideas for ya, I hope they help.
Topic: Prayer Request ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am asking for prayers for the friends and family of John & Fran Muldoon. They are the Milltown, DE couple that was found and is now being investigated as a murder/suicide. Their son Johnny is a senior at St. Marks and he has been one of my son's best friends since they were 4 years old. Johnny now has to face his high school graduation without his mom & dad. Fran was a very loving & caring lady, she was always a good friend and listener. Please pray that God is with these three kids as they pick up the pieces of their lives and have to continue on without parents.

Kathy thank you for responding. I think it is difficult for people who have "normal" family relationships to even comprehend that sometimes mothers eat their young.
I have been making progress in establishing "no contact" between my mom and me & my kids. This is because she refuses to acknowledge boundaries. She has had several chances over the years and continues to enjoy making things difficult for me so she can swoop in to the "rescue" and look golden in their eyes -- and I finally got sick and tired of it. She has damaged my self-esteem over the years, and it was becoming apparent that her actions and favoritism were causing issues for my son who is autistic. I had to get out of there.
It has been so peaceful here at the new rental house. Money is tight but we have been hanging on.
The stress is taking its toll on me, though. I weighed 184 this morning, the highest ever. I am so damn mad at myself.

There is a website that is a really neat tool -- you type in your current weight, height, measurements, etc. and it will track your progress.
It will also predict how much weight you'll lose each month -- you have to type in your age and level of activity, etc.

It is a good tool to use when you hit plateaus and don't see the scale moving down for weeks at a time (this happens to a lot of us) -- it will show you are still losing INCHES!
This website unfortunately only works for the RNY surgery, not lapbanders.
