So i went on clear unsweet liquids from then on! it was tough but hey! i had to do it! Maybe try mixing it with ice and blending it up vs just plain boring water? I am no longer in contact with my mother after her most recent "stunt" which entailed reporting that the car I purchased from her last summer (which we kept titled and insured in her name to keep my costs down although I paid cash in full for the car AND have been paying monthly car insurance) -- well, I got pulled over by Rehoboth's finest because a tag scan came back showing my tags are DEAD (I just renewed them two months ago).
Apparently she is so incensed that I moved out with my children that she decided to go in person to motor vehicles and release HER name from the title but NOT give them MY information. She refuses to sign the title over to me and the people at MVA say there is nothing I can do without her signature on the title.
I have one more week before I have to park the car and return the tags to them. Then I will be carless, and most likely jobless too.

Congratulations on your up coming surgery. The 23rd will be here before you know it! Dr. I is a sweetheart. Feel at ease with him. The pre op diet is the worst, just remember why you're doing this and it seems to all be not so bad.
Keep in touch with us and let us know how you are doing.
We have a support group meeting on the 17th at Victory Fellowship Church (next to Walmart on rt 40) at 7pm. It would be great if you attended.
Good luck!!
Judy

I am going through the gastric bypass on 23rd and can not wait. I have my mother coming down from Connecticut to take care of me and leave the pressure from my husband. He is the only one that is nervous. But before surgery I have started my liquid diet Opifast. I hate it. I am doing well on this but it is really hard. I can only drink WATER..... So when I can hungry I grap a bottle of water. I started on this Saturday and will have to be on this for 14 days and I am counting the days. But the good side I have lost 6 pounds from Saturday. After that is all over then comes my CLEAR liquid diet for 2 days and then my SURGERY date. That is what keeps me going. This was a journey of 6 months but it was all worth it. I was complaining the first 3 months and how much I knew well I was wrong. What I know now and keep on knowing is wonderful.
I have a wonderful husband, 21 years and all the support from my family and friends, that I know that I will be fine. I have that right attuide. Women are always strong. But when my husband worried that makes me even strong and vise versa. I'll keep in touch. Just want to be in part of your group.
Wow, 65# in 3 months!! You are doing great. Doesn't it feel good. I hope you are taking monthly pictures so you can reflect on your transformation. I carry a pic of me at my heaviest so when I get discouraged, all I do is whip that pic out and tell myself, girl you're not going there again!
My daughter and I will definately be at Victory Chapel on Tuesday. Congratulations on the star. You deserve it.
How did you like the chocolate flavoring you from the lady at the meeting. Marshall's sometimes has the SF syrups, I'm gonna look for some to spice up these shakes.
Take care,
Judy

Good morning all-
How is everyone doing? Whats new? I figured i would do a post today since i have been Slacking and i told Joanne i would try to post as mush as possible to keep our board ALIVE-
Anywho- I am 3 months and 1 week out of RNY and down 65 lbs! Boy does it feel AMAZING!
I couldnt be happier! This is truley the best move i made in my life!
I have a little story to share- My family ( mom and dad) Have a Lawn & Snow Plowing business. I have always helped along with my sisters cutting grass in hot as can be temps, shoveling and salting in cold temps.. you all get the picture. However with the nice snow storm we had just a few weeks ago.. i went out to help. I would always be the one to hop up in the back of the truck and scoop the salt and sand into the sander. Well i remember being so out of breath sweating breathing geavy thinking i was gonna DIE because it was hard work.
Well let me just say 65lbs off really does help.. the past snow storm when i helped.. i was full of ENERGY! i was scooping away and it didnt even phase me... i wasnt out of breath like i was.. now i was breathing heavy but didnt feel like i was going to DIE thats for sure! Now this was a whole Post office front and back parking lot etc, If any of you are from Bear its the post office in Fox Run! pretty big for sure! Im kind of excited to see what Summer is going to bring when its time for grass cutting ;-)- So thats my little story!
Hope to see everyone @ Victory on Tuesday March 17th!
