One of my route drivers at work actually paints on the side with his son in law.  They do a wonderful job!  I am confident that when they are finished, it'll look spectacular!

Hey Judy.....Are you and your husband doing the painting...or did you hire a contractor.  I so need to paint, but I have never done it before and I dont know where to start.  I was thinking maybe on starting with a little room like the kitchen or bathroom.

Tonight, I will be looking in the internet at vitamins....calcium citrate and vitamin D.  Plus I need to order my Unjury.

Saturday morning, I will be going to the dentist for my 6 month check-up.  Hopefully no more cracked teeth.  Then on to Trader Joes's....there is always something I want to buy there.

I am hoping to start to clean out my closets.  I keep saying that I am going to do it.....but something
always happen to come up....and I never get it done.

My sister just got diagnosed with degenerative joint disease....she is following in my foot steps but didnt have gastric bypass surgery....she believes that our bone problem is genetic.  So I am stopping over to her house in Oxford Pa to show her my back and knee exercises.

Thanks for asking.

We're having the main part of our house painted this weekend.  About two months ago, we had our kitchen and breakfast room done.  Looks great so I can't wait to get the rest of the first floor done.  We did the kitchen and breakfast area in Hummus and are having the rest done in cream with 2 accent walls of Earth (dirt) color.

Thats about it for me.  Just finishing up my weeks vacation..... bummer....

I think I'm going to the pool to work on my tan, uh, I mean, to work on getting more vitamin D!  Yeah, that's the ticket...

I have a lot of summer work to accomplish for next year's classes, so I'll be doing lesson plans in between trips to Costco, the supermarket, and Target.  And the pool.

Rob's absolutely right - for the first month or so after my DS, I did a chewable calcium citrate from the Vitamin Shoppe.  It tasted orangey - it was ok, but not my favorite, and I was glad to be able to take the horse pills instead.

However, there are loads of calcium citrate options.  If you have some extra money burning a hole in your pocket, you can check out Celebrate Vitamins or Bariatric Advantage, as both have really tasty - and I mean REALLY TASTY like candy - chewable calcium citrate.  They're like vitamin pez - but they look more like sweet tarts.  There are also Calcium Chews, similar to Viactiv, but made with calcium citrate put out by both companies.  They're absolutely scrumptious, but I find them too pricey.

Citrical has a dosage called Petites, where you have to take a larger quantity of pills, but the pills themselves are smaller.  You may want to consider that, as it would help break up your dosages throughout the day, which might help absorption, too.  Since you're eating 6 smaller meals instead of 3 larger ones, it would be easy to just take your vitamins with your meals that way.

Another calcium citrate option that I've tried is UpCal D, which I've ordered from Vitalady and also from Amazon.com.  It's a powder that you can mix into anything and drink.  I've mixed it in with Crystal light and not had the slightest grit or taste.  I'll put it into a protein shake when I feel like mixing one up.  It comes in a canister with a scoop (and it's a really small scoop), or you can get individual packets.  They're a little more expensive, but SUPER-convenient!  I'd throw one in my lunchbag to mix into my crystal light at lunchtime.

There's even a liquid form of calcium citrate I've seen at the Vitamin Shoppe.  I can't vouch for how it tastes or how effective it is, though, as I haven't tried it.

If you PM me your email address, I'll be happy to send you an attachment of what my surgeon's office wants for labs.  It's their requirement for RNY, DS, VSG, and LapBand, so it would be perfectly appropriate for you, too.

My husband and I are going to a pool party on Sunday.  Hopefully it won't rain.
I'll be bringing a side dish of Lemony Quinoa. (www.allrecipes.com).  I made that same dish for a July 4th party at my cousin's house and it was a huuuuuge hit.

What are your plans, Rosey?
