I am in here in New Orleans for the national Education Assoc. Conference.  I have been here since last Tuesday and will be here until Thursday.  This is my first trip post RNY....I miss my scale and my regular foods.  I HATE having to eat processed foods all the time.  I am trying to make a protein shake in the morning ( I feel naked if I don't have one in the morning - like I lost my underwear!).  Then I did pack portein chips since I am sitting in a meeting all day.  I found some tuna fish, but I am now finding I HATE EATING OUT!!!!!

Leaving now to go see the fireworks on teh Missippi.

Hi Elisa......I am at Trader Joe's almost every weekend.  I love that store.  I recently joined Massage Envy and get a massage once a month.  I have had two so far and both have been heavenly.  If you ever want a massage....I can get you one for $39.00 for an hour. 

Please let Charlie know that I am praying for him.  I have seen people doing physical therapy for a rotor cuff......and the pain they felt was right up or maybe more painful than the knee replacement.

My DH, Charlie had his rotor cuff operated on Friday. Due to complications he won't be home til Sunday or Monday. Dr.Joseph Mesa, Ortho Specialist operated on him. He operated on my broken wrist a couple yrs ago. I told him to treat Charlie's arm like he was a pitcher for the Phillies and it is worth a million bucks. Now we just gotta knock him out for 6 weeks so it'll heal.

Good luck trying to do that. Needless to say I spent the last 2 days at the hospital. Thank God I was able to pack my bag in the morning. I had my protein drink, crystal lite Iced tea. Yogurt. I did buy a salad in the cafeteria today. I thought he was coming home so I packed breakfast only. Didn't get to the gym. I get real b_ _ _ _ y when I don't go.

Hi Kris.....  I just got in from shopping at Trader Joes'.  Bought so much fresh fruit and veggies....you would think more people lived at my house than there is.  Found out late that my daughter is working late at the mall....so I will be cooking a simple supper of scrambled eggs and veggies.
