Just a me update!

hey girl,  isn't Dr. I great!!! I should know he is my surgeon and LOVE his overstyle style and persona.  He  is straight to the earth, gets to the point and what matters most to me is he doesn't have this arrogancy or god complex. He told me from the start we will have a longterm relationship like a tag team. He is extemely knowledgeable and is one of the most wellknon researcher with lots of publications and studies regarding bariatric surgery expecially DS. This is one surgeon who main interest is helping the patient, not into being a money making machine.

You have my phone # and we've spoken a few times. You know you can call me anytime. I am glad you found Dr. I to be the right surgeon for you to place your life on. I have and love him to pieces!!! He was there for me right after surgery with concern and didn't release me from the hospital till he made sure I was ok. There was a daily morning medical rounds and the attending wanted to discharged me to go home. When Dr. I came to see me, he said you are not ready to go home and let me stay for another day or 2. He does have concerns for his patient over wellbeing and safety that everything goes well with the surgery. I checked out many surgeon and narrowed it down to him and made the best decision having him as my bariatric surgeon. Wishing you the best as your day approaches.

I appreciate all of your help with everything related to this surgeon.  I'll try to keep in touch but if I don't call very often....remember that I'm in the middle of a transition period with this relocation and the upcoming surgery.  So if I don't reach out....I need you to.

hey girlfriend, just paying it forward and he has been a wonderful surgeon in every aspect. girl, i know you are in the middle of relocating and all. take your time to concentrate on that. I will make the effort to visit you at the hospital after your surgery since i know you are relocating and remember i can have my arroz con gandules and of course the different types of moro!!! much luv 2 u

Hi Evelyn I'm so happy for you that you've found the perfect Dr.  It does make a difference.  I was so nervous when I went to meet my surgeon Dr L, and when I did I felt the same way as you do.  I just love him to pieces.  Good for you I hope you get feeling better real soon and before you know it you'll be sitting on the loosers bench Leslie
