I made goal!!!

I MADE IT!!!! Hello everyone,

This is the long lost Patti B. I just wanted to pop on here and encourage everyone who is fighting for the DS or going through the prosess after surgery. I had to fight long and hard to get the DS just like many of you but KEEP fighting it is worth it. I had my surgery Feb. 21, 2006 and I met the Dr.'s goal on Friday.

I am proud to say that naked I even surpased it

I was 135 with a robe on and 134 without!! My goal for myself is 127, I hope to be there by Feb. 21st. I really don't feel like I have much control over the weight loss. I eat everything except soft drinks, which I am holding out until I reach my goal. It does not seem that I can control the weightloss my what I eat, except that I must eat, if I don't then I don't loose much. When I come on to read I notice that I eat less than most, not all but I always eat until I am full, sometime really full. I have had no complications and would not change having it for anything!!! I am in a size 6 or 8 which I am very happy about. I will try to take a picture and post it soon. The last time I tried I could not do it but they have changed the board since then so maybe it is easier now. I would love to be on here more, maybe soon I will be able to. Thanks Jeanie, I have almost as well as I could have ever imagined. I learned a great deal from all you wonderful DS'ers, I was well prepared. Thanks for all your help that you have given all of us. Patti
