OT - Please pray for my Daddy.
Lola, I had a very good friend whose dad was diagnosed with ALL at just about the same age as your dad. He became so sick he was in ICU, and she sat in my living room, crying, saying, "I just wish that God would get this over with and put him at rest." Well, the man recovered and he is now NINETY EIGHT years old! None of us would have ever believed it. I will most definitely say healing prayers for your dad.

Hi Lola
I am sending prayers your way and also wanted to say that I'm kinda going through the same thing right now. My Mom has been sick for months now as well, she's 69 (my husband and I moved in with her when my father passed away). Her Dr thought it may have been her gallbladder so they removed it on Dec 20th and we were relieved that she was finally going to get some comfort back. She didn't, so after more pushing the Dr has decided to do a bone scan on her, the technician says they are looking for bone cancer. Her Dr kept pushing her off saying, if you still have this pain in 2 weeks come back and see me
I was furious. I said you shouldn't have to sit in pain for 2 weeks waiting for him. Finally I told her call him back and get in there and see him, luckily she did because now he's on holidays.. what an idiot. I called his office on Monday to find out what was going on with her test results and he's away. My mom had an appointment with the Dr that did her surgery so I went in with her and told her what was going on. The surgeon set her up for some more tests, along with blood work which her PCP never had done. Unbelievable! Hopefully we'll have some answers this Monday.
Sorry to go carry on for so long.
I am sending prayers and best wishes your way for your Dad, you and your family

DEAR, DEAR LOLA (from Darcy's Mom, Angie) I am writing from Darcy's house because she is in the hospital today having her baby and I am lurking to pass the time while her boys are napping. I JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW that I will be holding your dad up in prayer. I can tell you love him a lot and I am so sorry that he is so ill. God sees you and dad and all of those who love him. I pray that GOD will give you all a great comfort and peace and will keep HIS MIGHTY HAND upon you all. I pray too that GOD will touch your dad's body.
