2 weeks post-op can I have arbys roast beef?

Ok so I didn't cook tonight, and my husband is stopping there on his way home.  I would think roast beef with no bun of course would be ok.  I have been eating deli meat and even pork lion just fine and even chicken breasts.  So would their roast beef be ok or not? I could scrape around here and try to find something.  I don't want to "cheat" I have done soo good and promised I would cheat.  But I wouldn't think roast beef from arbys is THAT bad. What do YOU think?  Yes or no?

So I looked up the nutrition info for just the meat and it really isn't too bad. A regular roast beef which I wouldn't be able to eat it all has 143 calories, the only thing that IS high is the sodium.

You would need to call your doctor.  I know I was on liquids the first 2 weeks then moved to mushies several weeks.  I'm 6 weeks out and JUST started eating meat that wasn't ground to ribbons.  My information specifically said no beef up to regular food stage.

My surgeon's food schedule went like this, 2 weeks pre-op liquids, 4 weeks post op liquids and then I could start eating solid food.  After 6 weeks I was allowed raw veggies and red meat.  Red meat is very hard to digest and at 2 weeks post op you are still healing, you should not be eating anything that makes your stomach churn a lot.  You can disrupt the bands placement and cause some serious problems.  Did your surgeon give you a food schedule?  I doubt pork loin and roast beef were on it after two weeks.  Call you doctor to verify what you can and can't have at this stage of healing.

I guess you didn't read my other 10 posts on here.  YES I can have pork loin.  Sorry you do not believe me.  I quoted some emails from my NUT in other posts.  My doctor is opposite of yours, I cannot have raw veggies until 3 to 6 months.  Every doc. is different

Sorry, i had not read the other posts.  Apparently you can have pork loin and other meats.  And yes, every doc is different.  Mine is very conservative about post op eating.  He wants enough time for healing and to also avoid any vomiting because of the stress that causes on the band.   It's not that I don't believe you, i hadn't seen the other posts.

I have never heard of a pork lion, but I have heard of a pork loin.  I know you can get as hungry as a lion, but that is the only term I have heard about lions and hunger.  I think that the roast beef should be fine.

I have had problems with Arby's meat in the past, it seems kind of rubbery to me.  But everyone is so different, it is so hard to say what will work for other people.

Two weeks out seems very early for meat, especially deli meat which often causes complications. How about a scrambled egg or cottage cheese, yogurt, black beans, etc.
