Didn't somebody promise me a cookie?

Okay peeps, I'm officially checking in from the Darkside!   Man, do I feel like I've been run over by a mack truck...and like someone threw it in reverse and backed over me again for good measure, lol.  But thank God the surgery is over, Doc said everything went well and I'm looking good.  Hopefully I'll begin feeling normal again by my one-week appointment.

I'm on unrestricted liquids, but have had a lot of trouble drinking (nausea).  Im about to cut my crystal light w/water and see if that thelps.  In the meantime, I've recruited about 4 other patients and am leading the post-op parade around the halls.  I'm doing marathon laps around this place, popping wheelies on the IV stand -- whatever I have to do to bust outta this joint!  

Thanks so much to Ashley, my lovely angels Gina and Shani, and Hope G for checking in on me.  Thanks to everyone on the boards for all of the support, prayers, words of encouragement.

Oh, and did I mention I'm already feeling quite svelte?  Two-piece ready, even (and I don't mean the kind that comes with a biscuit)?!  HAAAAAAAAAA

I'm so glad to see you posting and to hear you're doing well! Good - now you can come to Gina's on Saturday, right? I can put some deviled eggs in a blender for you!

Unfortunately, if they finally release me tomorrow, it will be to a local hotel.  I won't be cleared to leave for VA until Monday.  I wish I could come

Don't worry, I will put some deviled eggs in a doggy bag on your front step. I'm sure they will be FABULOUS when you get home!
