Question

   I honestly never thought about that.  You have just ruined my night but I am glad you did.  WOW....I never thought about being a guinea pig because I found this procedure on the practice's web site.  And the thought of being scarred for life is just not anything I can live with....When I go in next week I will ask for a Rx for an upper GI and or a regular EGD so that he can make a determination as to what revision HE can safely perform on me or I will just have to move on to another surgeon.

You live in Atlanta...see if Donald Maynard will do a revision...he's in GA somewhere.  He may not.  If that is the case, go to Greenbaum.  Start saving.  You won't need any new clothes...until after the revision.  Just do it...the guy you are currently talking to is blowing rainbows up your backside.  Sorry, but it's true.  And for God's sake don't let him put that awful stuff in your stomach...just don't go back.  Call and cancel the appt.  Seriously.

Yeah, I pretty much got up this morning having made that decision.  I wil not have that procedure done.  I will just make an appt with my PCP to have an EGD done and an upper GI so that I can take this to a good revision doctor and move forward from there.
