Anyone worry about losing too much weight?

And do carbs help mitigate that? I want to reach my goal, but I watched Steven King's "Thinner" and I have to say I do worry about going from obese to skeletal sometimes. Though no one here is overly skinny that I can tell. It seems like the DS vitamin/weight issue possible problems are pretty easily navigated if you are paying attention and adapt your vitamins/diet accordingly?

I did worry but it was unfounded. My surgeon and Vitalady told me to chill. lol

My understanding is that it does happen, but that it's pretty rare.  I've also been told that we may dip a little too low for comfort at some point, but that a nice little bounceback up the scale will usually follow as your body figures out where it wants to be.  If you do end up one of the ones having trouble, there are digestive enzymes you can take with meals to increase your absorption and you can also add in more carbs.

I am only 10 months out and at the point where I don't want to lose anymore.  I'm 5'7" and am in a size 10-8.  Once I have plastics I am figuring I'll go down another pant size.  I've always been curvy-even when thin.  I don't want to be bony.  I feel like another 10 pounds would make me bony.  I'm not freaking out yet.  We'll see what happens.

I definitely do not worry about it.

Nope.   You'd be best to spend your precious worrying time 1)  Getting your proper nutrients in and 2)  How you're going to afford all the new clothes you'll want to buy when you get to goal.
I got down pretty low briefly, but bounced back to a comfortable weight.

As a lightweight (104 lbs to lose and lost it!)  I was super worried....on the other end of the spectrum, I also thought I would be the one person that wouldn't lose any weight with the DS and I would fail.

Neither of those happened.  I'm lucky, I control my weight by eating carbs and I eat a fair amount, so I can't complain.  I try and keep myself between 135 and 140 as that is where I am most comfortable with myself and sit at a 2/4 at any given time.

Just keep your eye on protein and vitamins....the rest you will adjust accordingly

best of luck

I'm too low right now, and am drinking some beefed-up protein with more carbs to try to add 10-25.

What is beef-up protein? I just can't do Whey protein, so this sounds interesting. Karen

it's what weight lifters use to gain weight, has a lot more carbs.  It is whey.  I was just using it as an expression
