Anyone worry about losing too much weight?
PCP and family freaked out when I went below 100 but Vitalady told me to just wait it out and eat healthy and the bounce back would happen. It did! LOL! ..... I just boxed up my 0s, 2s and some 4s and am learning to be happy with a normal BMI versus a "below normal" bmi. I'll admit that I liked being able to wear EVERYTHING in my closet for the first time!!! If it was too big then I wrapped a cute belt around it and if it just fell off me then it was way too much fun to give my formerly "skinnier than me" sister my bigger clothes!
"If" you go too low and your supplements are going in regularly then just hang on, enjoy it and don't buy too many outfits in that teeny size. Our bodies usually find a healthy landing place. Of course my revision from Rny to DS has given me back the "healthy" part of the deal!!!!
I got a little twisted with skinny and am having to have a few talks with myself. I need occasional reminders that normal weight does not equal "overweight"! Gheesh! Our minds can certainly call the shots on most days, y'know?!!!
Good luck!

I am glad to see you are doing good since your revision to the DS. Just curious since I am considering it, if you have had any issues thus far?
That was a long way of saying that i'm doing great and I guess I now have normal "old girl" smelly gas. But.....I haven't met anyone who has great smelling gas, y'know?
On a serious note though.....my DS revision has turned my health around. I had absolutely NO idea what a recluse I had become because of my lagging energy, my odors and my non stop diarrhea with the ERny. I feel like I have a new lease on life! I just barely came home from a 4,000 mile road trip where I stayed in several homes and felt very comfortable using their potty. I was amazed at the things I was able to do!!!! (Did a 2 hour zipline in the giant Redwoods of CA!!! Wooooo HOOOOOO!!!!!)
Good luck on your revision to a DS! Just do it!!!!

I am not too worried about it - but my friends and family are very worried. I am a little thin (6 ft 2 and 178) but I am only 18 months out and curretnly eat ANYTHING I want. I am waiting for the bounce back - I really like 190 - 195 but I have upped my protien shakes and I am getting all my vites in. All my labs look great so I am not concerned.

I thought about it for about five seconds. I'm not super strict on carbs, if I were I probably would be at goal now....I'm 5' 5" and 170....would like to lose another 20. But hey...if I stay here I'll be OK with that. I don't look gaunt or too aged in the face for my 44 years and I'm glad for that.
I'm wearing a size 14 but I have a big hernia that needs repair. I'd probably be in a 12 if I didn't have that.
I think if I died my CORPSE wouldn't be skinny.
But my labs are good. I feel good. I look good. So I figure I have the right to be happy.

I don't worry about losing too much weight. My mom does...she's kind of obsessed with telling me to stop losing weight right now. Really? I don't think that 149 is emaciated, by any means. I'm still at the high end of a normal BMI. I expect that I'll go a bit lower, as most people here do, and then I'll bounce back up. I wouldn't mind staying right around where I'm at now, so if that's where I end up, I'll be happy.

I still have about 50 pounds to lose, so, umm, no, not a concern for me :P
If one does need to add some more pounds or slow/stop the weight loss, there are ways of doing so without revising the surgery. One is to add carbs, but if carbs cause you issues such as gas or bloating, another option is also to take enzymes that will help you to absorb more of the calories you eat.
