Another update (gonna be a long one)

 Wow!  You have really been through it!  I am so sorry for the very difficult time!  I hope it is all easy going from here on out for you!  Enough is enough!  I wish you a very speedy recovery!  Hugs to you!

 I am so sorry for what you are going through. I have had major complications as well since I had my surgery May 2009. Since then I have really only had 5 months out of the almost 2 years that I was actually able to eat. I have been NPO for the last 8 months and I know it sucks. I am hoping to be able to start eating sometime next week. I know it hard to not eat for that length of time but in the long run it will be what is best to get you healed. To put your mind at ease I have been on a pretty high calorie diet by both my feeding tube and TPN and I didn't gain any weight. I lost a lot and then just maintained my weight. It will be what is best to get your fistula healed as quickly as possible. It will be hard at first but you will be able to do it and you will have a ton of people on here to support you.
