Another update (gonna be a long one)

OMG!  I'm so sorry you're going through all of this.

I know exactly how you feel about the no food or water issue.  When I had severe pancreatitis and was in ICU for over a month, I wasn't allowed to have anything, I couldn't suck on an ice chip, and everytime I brushed my teeth, the ICU nurse was right there to make sure I spit everything out. It was rough, but I got through it, and I'm here.  I had 13 seperate specialists getting me back to normal.  Had major thorasic open surgery, with tubes coming out of me everywhere.

Just think positively, you will get through all of it, and you'll have the rest of your life to eat everything you're yearning for right now.
