Responding to posts directed to pre-ops
You are absolutely right, she does. She is actually a very smart lady, she intentionally stirs the hornet's nest to get the most traffic so the most people see her post. She doesn't even hide the fact that she is doing it and yet there is always a fight about it.
Do I agree with her, meh... maybe not but she does get a lot of hits on her posts, which is her goal.

But doe****'s transfer to "reads" or do you lose 95% of those your trying to reach by the language used in the message? If people are so turned off by the language used, are you really reaching the amount of people you think you are?
I don't know about other people but when I was pre-op and ran into one of her posts, I couldn't get 1/2 way through her message becuase of the derogatory/inflamatory language she used. Thankfully I ran across others who were much more willing to "talk" or discuss the surgery rather than "preach" the surgery. While, Ultimately, I decided the DS wasn't for me, I do appreciate those who take their time and effort to talk about the DS with others with a polite, civil and respectful attitude.

I agree with you, I don't like the delivery either but I do appreciate that she pays it forward. Her heart really is in the right place and she is amazingly helpful with Insurance issues and I can see past the inflamatory posts.
I am glad that you got the information you needed to make a decision. I hope to pay it forward in a way that is more in tune to my real nature. I don't name call or insult, I try to encourage everyone. It's not my place to judge, just to help when I can and to correct myths so Pre-Ops are not scared off.
