i got bronchitis at least 3-4 times a year preop. i havent had it a single time postop. i have only had a cold a few times and preop it seemed like i had one everytime there was a drastic change in the weather.

I guess I'm one of the minorities. I used to get a cold, and maybe a stomach bug once a year, sometimes only the stomach bug. That's pretty good for having 2 kids at home who carry germs in from school. Since my surgery last July, I've had the flu, 2 colds, 2 stomach virus', and now a cold and upper respiratory infection. I have seen a decrease in the number of migraines though. They have went from 4-5 a month down to 2-3.
You would think with all these vitamins, I'd be a bit safer from getting sick. Guess that's the opposite in my case.

me too.  I never ever used to get sick.  I was a tank of immunity.  No my allergies are worse, I got 3 colds this winter....fighting one now.  Just uhhhgggg.  Good thing is all the meds seem to work super fast.  One tylenol can knock a headache out in 30-60 mins.
You can either stop dreaming and face reality or keep dreaming & create your reality.

My mom and I were just commenting that I hadn't gotten the flu or a cold this winter. I don't know if it is the DS or if it is because I take so many vitamins but either way I'll take it.

I count myself among the generally healthier in terms of colds/flu.  I have gotten a few colds, but they are very short lived and very infrequent.   Yay for good vitamins!

No change for me. I keep bronchitis all the time now, same as pre-op. :(

I haven't gotten sick at all (knocking on wood....).  I used to be sick often, requiring trips to the doctor.  My kids and DH have been sick several times since my DS, and I have skated by without catching anything.  I have had days when I feel pretty crappy, but not sick-sick.  My migraines, however, have increased, both in intensity and frequency since surgery.  I'm so not happy about that!
