Size 10's....REALLY? A Wow
Well,
The mysterious big yellow ball has finally decided to show itself in the Ohio sky, after two months of cold rain.
I had no summer clothes as I weighed almost 50 lbs more last summer, so, I went to Kohls for some lovely hide-my-saggy-skin-knees capris. I've been wearing size 12's for some time now, occasionally trying on a size 10 here and there but with no luc****il today!
Two of the four pairs of capris I bought were size 10 and they fit perfectly!!!! Before DS surgery, the lowest adult size I had ever been in was a size 14 in high school. So, a ten seems unreal - even if it is a vanity-sized ten!
I came home, put on a pair of the 10's, walked over to my husband, turned my back to him and told him to look at my tag. I instructed him to "make a big deal" (After 22 years of marriage I know better than to expect him to read my mind - THAT always ends in disappointment, LOL).
Anyway, even at 20 months out, I am still having wows!

YipppeeKayay Christy! I am so happy for you! I had a similar experience this past week when a girl I work with gave me some of her capris that she had outgrown and I didn't think they would fit but thought well I will try them on and see how far I like before I can get into them. I thought it would help give me incentive! Size 8's and they zippped right up and fit...I wore a pair to work on Friday. I still can't believe it and I tell you, can't express how it feels, so I know how happy you are girl!

You go girl! Size 10 is fabulous! I think I wore a pair of your size 16 Bugle Boy jean shorts this weekend and felt GREAT! We need to touch base and can hopefully travel together this weekend to the Dayton Area DS Gathering. I am really looking forward to it.
