Bev, the owner of DS Facts, is not interested in going that route.
There is always www.duodenalswitch.com , owned by longterm postop Melanie Magruder.

She has been banned and is being threatened with a lawsuit. I can promise you, having known her for a number of years now, that she will NOT come back under a new name.

Topic: RE: So, it was a stricture....
Chad is someone who had a LOT of problems of this kind, and so have some other folks. Hang in there and try to reach out to him. ****hugs****
I haven't had that kind of procedure, but it would make sense to me that it might take a bit for your freshly assaulted stomach to calm down and accept stuff. Maybe tomorrow will be better. But keep talking to your docs, and go back for more fluids sooner rather than later.

Topic: RE: NO SURGERY FOR ME!
Did you see Dr. Lane? He does not DO the DS. We told you that. Go to a REAL DS SURGEON like we told you before.
For that matter, WHOEVER you saw was not a real DS surgeon and is full of **** Use a surgeon from the list on www.dsfacts.com .

Topic: RE: Okay, asking again, where is Ms Cal Culator (Sue)?????
Sue has enormous family responsibilities and her own health issues. She conserves energy whenever and wherever necessary. If someone needs her for assistance in her particular areas of "specialty," she can be found.
She is also extremely private and I daresay would be discomfited by repeated wonderings about her absence. Rest assured that if any trouble happens to her, word will reach this board.

How much fluid have you kept down in the past 24 hours? I'm beginning to think you belong admitted through the ER NOW TONIGHT and not waiting till tomorrow.

Topic: RE: Home after Lower and Upper body lift - 18 lbs of skin removed!
WOWZERS that is a LOT of surgery!!
Here's to a nice, boring, uneventful recovery.

Topic: RE: Recommendations for a good bra/full busted gals only!
Cacique at Lane Bryant. They have several variations. A really good fitting, full cut underwire would probably serve you well.
Also, look at www.junonia.com at their ultra motion stopper options. Not cheap but VERY VERY effective.

Listen Kim. Your surgeon is new to revisions. Complications happen. Put those two things together and you get increased likelihood of complications like strictures and stuff. You're in a much higher risk category for this stuff.
If you can't get stuff down, the feeding tube is your friend, closest ally and LIFE SAVER. Don't put it off. Get it done FAST and embrace it. It's not horrible. It's very easy to manage and it will help you heal and recover.
You won't believe how much better you'll feel when all is said and done. Do not panic. You're going to be okay.
I'm very glad you got plumped up at the ER. That bought you some time. Now no putting any of this off for any reason, y'hear me? *nag nag motherhen nag*
