pregnant 3 years post op
Yes its true, but couldnt be happier. My only question is, is constant diarrea normal at the end of my pregnancy? Im about 8 months pregnant now and I am losing weight due to the diarrea. I have discussed this with my dr and they just keep telling me to quit losing weight, which its not my choice to be doing so. For the most part, other than being tired all the time and feeling as big as a house, I feel normal, just the diarrea is the problem for the past 2 weeks now. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Congrats on your wl sucess and your pregnancy! As for the diarrea question - I would contact my wl surgeon as well as my gyno immediately and ask them what is going on. No, under "normal" cir****tances, diareha is not normal during pregnancy and I've know post-op preggers and they did not have it either. YOu may have picked up a nasty tummy bug or it could be something else. Call your docs today - don't wait. The trots can get you very dehydrated and run down quickly - not good for you or the baby. Hang in there and good luck!

Hi Christine! I had my son last year at 3+ years post op and I have to tell you that it really isn't normal to have diarrhea anytime during pregnancy. You most likely have picked up a bug of some sort and should see a Dr. You need to really up your water intake as well to avoid dehydration. I didn't gain at all in the last 7 weeks of my pregnancy, but you shouldn't lose either. Good luck to you and congrats on your little bundle.
