FINALLY! After weeks of applying and doctor's visits I got insurance approved!

United Healthcare took about 3 weeks to approve. Kathy at US Bariatrics called this morning to tell me. Someone is suppose to call me Monday with a surgery date for surgery with Dr. Marema. I cannot wait! I am excited and scared at the same time.

I got nervous in the pre-op room and they gave me something that knocked me out big time!! I never knew another thing until I was post-op and dry heaving (which I only vaguely remember). Enjoy your pre-op time. Every part of this journey is special!! Congratulations!! Jan
