Help!

Hi guys, I am writing today to see if anyone has gone through this, sorry it is gross. I am 12 days post-op and since yesterday when I have a bowel movement I have red blood in it. Of course I called the doctor and he says to jus****ch it, but I am freaking out. I would appreciate anyone's input if you have been through this. Thanks in advance. Mayra from Miami.

Mayra, first of all, don't freak out, at 12 days I know you are scared like I was. Trust your doctor. keep your eye on the blood. Make sure it's in the fecal matter and not a tear or fissure from a hemmroid in your anal area. sometime you can get a fissure (a crack or tear) from too much or rough wiping. You did the right thing by calling your doc. Do whatever he tells you. good luck , margaret
